Automatic contour surface sander KFA - a special sanding machine intended for sanding in feed direction convex and/or concave workpiece shapes - equipped with one cross sanding unit for the wood fine and lacquer sanding. Processing is ensured by the cross sanding unit which is equipped with a segmented pressure beam and the programmable CSD® system to ensure that the cross sanding unit will accurately follow the surface contour of the workpieces. Operation is by means of an industrial PC with graphical touch screen operating terminal. The feed axis and the vertical axis of the sanding unit are line controlled in relation to each other.

If the workpieces have a more bent shape this sander can also be provided with a CNC controlled swivel/turning device: e. g. for doors with 90° curvature - for loudspeakers ans similar boxex.
